We use Contem, Duncan, Spectrum and Gare colours as well as a selection of stoneware and earthenware glazes and coloured slips.

Using brushes, sponges, stencils, trailers and sgraffito tools an infinite range of effects can be produced. Some effects can be duplicated, but some of the most satisfying finishes are achieved through experimentation and randomness. We have even experimented with glazes made from local resources, such as the clay from the sea cliffs.
